The election is over with some votes to be counted. The sky didn't fall and the sun came up. Let's all take a deep breath and rejoice in the end of campaign ads. Time to get down to the hard work of governing.
Win, lose or draw I think we can all agree, we're relieved its Election Day. I am exhausted with the ads, texts and mailers. Its been a bitter season. Let all the votes be counted and may the best person win.
I did my duty and voted this morning at the courthouse. It was quick and SAFE. No sticker this year, got this stylus/pen to vote with. No fingers touching the screen. Masks and dividers, no touch, no line = NO EXCUSES! #vote
@VixKayla Just one? That's like trying to pick my favorite kid. How about water-- no wait sewer. Definitely sewer... But roads are good too. Oh and so is public safety, police, fire, EMS. So many good choices.
The Covid-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of broadband access for all. High speed internet is a required utility. Special thanks to @JerryMoran and @RogerMarshallMD for championing our cause. Hopefully it help other communities in the future.

College towns face a unique challenge with Covid-19. Tabor has done an outstanding job in protecting their staff, students and the community. Hillsboro is grateful for Tabor's attention and thoughtfulness in this process. Welcome back for the fall @TaborCollege!
The health and safety of our students is important to us. In preparation for students returning to campus, we have installed Temperature Checks and Hand Sanitization Stations around campus.
During this pandemic it has become clear that high speed internet is a requirement not a luxury. I hope that the next Covid relief bill includes investment in fiber optic networks for our undeserved areas, from rural areas to cities. #vitalinfrastructure
Covid-19 cases are escalating in Kansas. I know that wearing a mask isn't fun, but it's a simple thing we can do to help stop the spread. Doing that now will hopefully prevent us from having to do more Draconian things in the future. #WearAMask
The best predictor of well-being in quarantine isn't optimism or mindfulness, but flow.
Study: people who became more immersed in tasks maintained their pre-pandemic happiness.
Uninterrupted blocks of time are treasures to be guarded.

Shout out to my amazing wife for breaking up the #QuarantineLife by building a card box labyrinth in our basement for the kids. Pretty plush with theatre, balloon room, snack room, etc. #MacGyver
Eco Devo Planning: Are there impediments at the federal, state or local level that deter business? Local gov can control what happens locally but not so much the other levels. Review regs yearly, solicit feedback from users, test your process to find success. #ToolboxTuesday
