I hate doing this, but my son has some medical surgeries coming up in the next few weeks. We are struggling with having the money to pay for them. Anderson is a strong kid who's been through a lot in 5 years, and any little bit goes a long way.

@Stanimal032 And he wouldnโt have gotten there if it wasnโt for the loyalty, development and belief Chris Klieman & Co instilled in him. Imagine where heโd be now if they just decided to cut him after his first two seasons due to poor play..
@Heartland_CS Throughout his career he was inconsistent and unproven. No regard for the opportunity, platform and development Kstate gave him. Avery was a top 100, elite 11 QB from KS. He's gonna get paid. The entitlement and ungratefulness isnโt a good look for him.
Iโm going to share this once. Some friends offered to do this for us. No one is under any obligation.
This time my family in going through something weโve never been through. Weโve never had Brody need four surgeries in three months. Weโve never spent over two months away from home like we have to this year. Weโve never had to max out my wifeโs PTO for Brodyโs medical needs by July. Weโve never needed me to be out of my practice for 6 weeks to help care for my son because he is now a big boy that need two people to lift him in/out of his wheelchair, etc. Weโve never been in this position.
My ego pushed back against this for a long time. I donโt like asking for help. I donโt like feeling like we arenโt able to handle it. I hate all of it. But we had a lot of people ask how they could help us through this time and this is what our friends came up with.
No obligation. No expectation. Appreciation for any little bit. Love you all for all youโve ALREADY done to lift us up during this time.
