Update on this: After drying it out for a few days I've gotten it to the point where my laptop mostly runs fine - but now I get the BSOD every time I have my Logitech C920 webcam running for more than a few minutes. Sigh.

I was literally JUST about to begin recording a chunk of footage for my next big project when I spilled some water on my laptop 😭

I got a frozen BSOD a few minutes later, so I’m letting it air dry for the next day or two.

New conundrum: Figure out a decent system for recording my face reading off my script while also not making it distractingly obvious that I'm reading from a script

Took some time finding video settings that worked pretty well for me and gave me an output that I think looks very nice.

I made a short video recording as a test, it took up almost 20 gigs of space and ate up the last bit of free space on my computer.
