To kick off celebrating and honouring Black History Month at Scalabrini today we had our African Drumming. All of our classes loved to learn about the art of African Drumming and even Mr. K showed off his moves. Stay tuned for more to come in BHM.

Starting today, November 7, flags at all DPCDSB schools/facilities will be flown at half-staff in memory of The Honourable Murray Sinclair, former Canadian Senator & former chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission who passed away on November 4.

September 30 a day for Truth and Reconciliation. At Scalabrini our Student Ambassadors led each class through passage on Truth and Reconciliation, a prayer and tied orange ribbons as a memorial to our past history and how we can grow in the future. #TruthAndReconciliationDay
