🇰🇪🤝🇧🇷 Ms. Susan Ongalo, Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF), held two bilateral side meetings with leaders in Brazil's travel and tourism industry to expand Kenya's visibility and market share in Brazil.

In the first meeting, Ms. Ongalo met with Mr. Sergio J. Maciura, CEO of Dnipro Gold Viagens. Their discussions focused on launching search engine advertising to promote Kenya's tourism offerings to Brazilian travelers. This digital approach is expected to put Kenya's destinations, experiences, and travel opportunities directly in front of Brazilians planning their next holiday.

In the second meeting, Ms. Ongalo met with Mr. Marcelo Siciliano, President of ABAV-RJ (Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies, Rio de Janeiro), to discuss a potential partnership between the two organizations. The recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ABAV and the Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) was highlighted as a strong foundation for this new collaboration. Both parties agreed on the importance of working together to popularise Kenya as a destination in Brazil and to capture a greater share of the Brazilian outbound travel market.

These engagements mark an important step in KTF's efforts to diversify Kenya's source markets and build lasting partnerships in South America. KTF remains committed to working with industry partners at home and abroad to position Kenya as a leading destination for Brazilian travelers.
