"Joy to the World" is from the album Naturally (1970) by Three Dog Night. The song was written by Hoyt Axton, who composed the lyrics in a very relaxed way. Three Dog Night recorded the track and turned it into a super addictive hit, with the amazing vocals of Cory Wells.

Released as a single in 1971, the song spent 6 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and became the band's biggest commercial success, selling millions of copies.
