Insane that Google used to pride themselves on sub-500ms latency
Now every time I make a mobile search, my screen gets hijacked asking if I want to use my current location, and I can’t close the box
Then the search REFRESHES, and the whole process takes 3+ seconds
Friends, say a prayer that my friend’s cat Ozzy returns safely. He apparently managed to open a screen door this afternoon and she hasn’t found him yet. He’s a sweet Maine Coon and my friend’s BFF. 🙏🏻

On February 21, 2025, 12-year-old Ayman al-Haimoni left his grandfather's house with his 10-year-old brother, Aisar, to deliver a sum of money to their uncle, who lives across the street. When the children saw Israeli soldiers in the street, they turned back. The soldiers then shot Ayman in the back. According to his mother, Anwar: "Aisar ran toward us in panic. 'They shot Ayman,' he said. I saw three soldiers surrounding Ayman, shining their flashlights on him. Ayman said to me in a weak voice, 'Mom, the soldiers shot me.'"
Fifty-four minors were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank in 2025. The report “Unshielded Childhood” tells their stories and documents the circumstances that led to each of their deaths.
Since October 2023 until July 27, 2026, Israel has killed 1,100 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 242 children and teenagers. This is the highest number of Palestinian children killed in the West Bank since the area was first occupied in 1967. This reality is the result of an Israeli policy that permits and supports such killings while ensuring that no one is held accountable.

I still consider myself an anarchist. However we are so far away from that, socialism, or even social democracy that I will accept any position that moves us away from the epsteinite death cult that currently rules over us. New deal is good enough for me right now
