7 years later, I joined the most enthusiastic and vibrant team, I didn’t know what I was going to do when I joined but a simple synopsis from the interview I heard on radio “serving children in underserved communities “.. Been 2yrs now with this amazing team❤️@40days_40smiles

[Esther Kalenzi💫 @Estar_K]

A volunteer said that in 2014, she listened to a radio interview where I told the 4040 story and thought to herself, "I'll be part of @40days_40smiles one day."

Me: 🥹🥰😍
It came to pass!

Reader, she was in S.1 at the time, and 4040 had been in existence for 2 years already 🫠

Before Google, there was a teacher.

Before YouTube tutorials, there was a teacher.

Before AI could answer our questions, there was a teacher standing in front of a classroom saying:
“Let me explain.”

Today, we celebrate the original search engine.

Happy World Teachers’ Day.

Let's get more books in the hands of children and fulfill her dream.
