Beginning at 7:30am on September 22nd, the hot water heating system will be taken out of service at Wescoe Hall. Facilities expects services to be restored by 11:30am. During this time, occupants may experience cooler than usual temperatures throughout the building.
Beginning at 7:30am on September 9th, domestic water at Capitol Federal Hall restrooms 4019 and 4021 will be taken out of service. Facilities expects services to be restored by 8:30am. During this time, there will be no water in those restrooms only.
Beginning at 10:00am on August 10th, domestic water at Jayhawker Tower B will be taken out of service. Facilities expects services to be restored by 2:00pm. During this time, there will be no water in all restrooms, sinks, showers and bottle fillers/drinking fountains.
Beginning at 6:30am on August 6th, domestic water at the Pharmacy Building will be taken out of service. Facilities expects services to be restored by 8:30am. During this time, there will be no water in all restrooms, sinks, and bottle fillers/drinking fountains.
Beginning at 9:00am on August 5th, the power at the Lied Center will be taken out of service. Facilities expects services to be restored by 3:00pm. During this time all HVAC systems will be out of service. The emergency lighting and fire alarm system will remain in service.
West front entrance at Carruth O’Leary Hall will be taken out of service. Facilities expects construction to be finished by the end of the business day on August 10th. Occupants may use the East, West, and South entrances to the building.
It has been 31 years, ye the disability community still fights for this law to be applied and followed. We will continue the fight for equality today, and everyday.
While we celebrate this momentous occasion we also want to honor the disability community by showcasing that today is not a day or rest, but of continuing the fight for equality.
