@BerriosVRE@MAS_WP@wplainsschools Glad you asked! Here are 2 @MAS_WP kindergartners testing out materials for final design to determine how theyll stand up against the “waterproof test.” We conducted several experiments where @wplainsschools#STEM students 1st predicted, then tested & observed for best solutions.
Before winter break, 4th gr @wplainsschools students had the opportunity to test final @MAS_WP#STEM projects, releasing a vehicle containing a raw egg down an inclined plane. Best part - we had time to reflect, revise,&rebuild if unsuccessful w/ first attempt. #WPProud#MASProud
Looks like fun! I love seeing what the other @wplainsschools are doing with their 4th grade unit and seeing how I can incorporate similar activities. Will definitely be using @McLaughlinSTEM museum walk strategy so all students can showcase their work at @MAS_WP today! #WPProud
Today, students in STEM are doing a museum walk! They are listening to each group’s vehicle design in preparation for their “test drive” tomorrow! @McLaughlinSTEM

Thank you for sharing! We’re doing this today/tomorrow @MAS_WP Love seeing what @ArisSTEM and her kids did w their challenge. Ms. McLaughlin @Ridgeway_WP showed the #STEMteam her egg faces this morning, which added to the excitement all around w 4th gr @wplainsschools students!
This morning @postroadschool fourth graders are building restraint systems to keep their egg passengers safe during a collision. What an amazing STEM Lesson with Ms. Arismendez! #wpproud#postroadrocks#stem#egg#letsgo
@wplainsschools students learning how to set&stick to a budget when considering materials to use for their final #STEM engineering challenge. @MAS_WP 4th graders follow @PLTWorg unit, creating a restraint for an egg in a vehicle moving down an inclined plane.
