Excited and honored to announce that my article on Cameroonian women's diplomacy with China during decolonization is out in @JAH_editors. Thank you to the many scholarly communities that helped bring this article into being!
@MimiMefoInfo Second case I know of. The first, a lady I know spent 20k yet the police asked her to wait. She took a picture of the computer screen that malfunctioned and said she'd consider/present it as her ID till the officials fix the problem. #pathetic.
Captain Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso has launched a series of prison reforms aimed at rehabilitation, reducing overcrowding, and aligning the justice system with traditional African values. A key aspect of the reform package is the introduction of agricultural labour as a means for prisoners to earn sentence reductions. Under this initiative, detainees who participate in agricultural work will have their sentences reduced by three months for every month of labour. The government sees this as a way to equip prisoners with practical skills, ease their reintegration into society, and boost Burkina Faso's agricultural output. https://t.co/ZlmJa6MEoT

The Head of state is a public figure and the state of his health is a right for every Cameroonian to know...when you don't communicate you leave room for rightful speculations and rumours!
Interesting remark. I used to follow Esani during the passion and death of Christ during Lent at church in Yaounde. It has a sacred and cultural connotation!

very sad to see the world lose the moral courage to stop atrocities. At a time when we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the UDHR, this is a stain and shame to our collective conscience. #CeaseFireInGaza
