28-year-old Mohd Bilal had nikah with a 16-year-old girl

Arranged marriage, with consent of both families

The girl got pregnant. When she went to hospital, doctors reported the matter to police because law requires mandatory reporting of POCSO violation

Girl miscarried. Bilal was booked under POCSO, but was released on bail after girl said she consented to the relation

He moved court to get the FIR quashed on two counts:
- Muslim personal law allows marriage at puberty
-girl has no objection

Delhi high court upheld the bail but refused to quash the FIR because irrespective of Muslim personal law, sexual relation with any girl under 18 - whether wife or not - is an offence under POCSO

Before POCSO, sexual relation with 15-year-old wife was legal so it was particularly rampant under Muslim Personal Law as it recognises puberty, even if it’s 12 or 13 years, as permissible age of nikah

- 76 year old retired Colonel Virendra Pratap Singh Chauhan lived in Noida.

- In a local park, the ADM, his wife, and his government gunman allegedly beat up Colonel Chauhan.

- They then filed molestation and SC/ST Act cases against Colonel Chauhan.

- Police arrested the 76 year old Colonel and sent him to Luksar Jail.

- But after the park’s CCTV footage was examined, it reportedly showed Colonel Chauhan sitting quietly while the ADM, his wife, and the gunman were the ones who attacked him.

- The then District Magistrate registered an attempt to murder case against seven people, including the ADM, his wife, and son, suspended the ADM, and Colonel Chauhan was granted bail.

This is why people allege that the SC/ST Act is sometimes misused to settle personal vendettas and ruin innocent people’s lives.

चुनाव के पहले ऐसी बयानबाज़ी करेंगे, फिर चुनाव हारने पर जनता को कोसेंगे।

राजनीतिक/वैचारिक लाख विरोध सही लेकिन बताइए ईमानदारी से बताइए ऐसे बयानों को समाज स्वीकार करेगा क्या? हिंदू स्वीकार करेंगे क्या? समाजवादी पार्टी को चिंतन करना चाहिए कि ऐस प्रवक्ता उसका कितना नुक़सान कर रहे हैं।

सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से अजयवीर सिंह उर्फ जय सिंह राठौड़ नामक व्यक्ति द्वारा अपनी 12 वर्षीय बहन को ‘ग्लूकोमा’/‘विट्रियस हेमरेज’ जैसी बीमारी से पीड़ित बताकर, उसके आंखों के उपचार के नाम पर फर्जी दस्तावेज तैयार कर, आमजन की भावनाओं से खिलवाड़ करते हुए लोगों से गलत तरीके से धनराशि (Crowd Funding) प्राप्त किए जाने संबंधी शिकायत प्राप्त हुई थी।

उक्त शिकायत का थाना बाह पुलिस द्वारा तत्काल संज्ञान लेते हुए प्राप्त तहरीर के आधार पर संबंधित व्यक्ति के विरुद्ध सुसंगत धाराओं में अभियोग पंजीकृत करते हुए अभियुक्त को गिरफ्तार किया गया है तथा अग्रिम वैधानिक कार्यवाही प्रचलित है।
