So many questions about how he'd fare and we all know how he did. Also conditions are the biggest factor in any match.

The batting conditions were undoubtedly worse in the India tour of England in 2018. 2018 was literally one of the worst years to bat in, in the history of test cricket. Check the avg runs per wicket in that series. It's not just the sheer volume
