₹ 2000 CR approved for internal road asphalting in #Bengaluru.
The Government has taken a fast and major decision to invest ₹ 2000 Cr to improve the local/ward level internal roads of Bengaluru. Entire major roads are taken up under different programs, Government felt the urgent need to improve local roads. In response to demands from MLA and public, the government has made a swift decision to make this major investment to improve road infrastructure.
Government has also given permission to call short term tenders to expedite the implementation. The funds are allocated to all constituencies irrespective of the Party of MLAs.

ನಗರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಡಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಒಳರಸ್ತೆಗಳ ಸುಧಾರಣ���ಯ ತುರ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮನಗಂಡಿದೆ.
ಶಾ��ಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಂದ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿ ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯ ಟೆಂಡರ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲು ಸಹ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಕ್ಷಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಾನ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಗರದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

Bengaluru Development Minister @krishnabgowda on Thursday announced a special grant of Rs 2,000 crore for upgrading damaged ward roads across five city corporations under Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA).
Officials have been directed to identify poor roads, prepare estimates, float short-term tenders and begin work immediately, with a target to complete projects within four to six months.
The minister also reviewed Bengaluru’s garbage crisis, directing officials to strictly enforce door-to-door waste collection, mandatory wet-dry waste segregation, GPS tracking of garbage vehicles, and stronger action against littering. A special drive will clear roadside garbage, debris and weeds.
He said visible improvements in waste management should be achieved within three to four months through better implementation of the existing system and greater citizen participation @GBA_office@GBAChiefComm
