I just hope @KunleRemi is fully aware of what he did at Alex's Funeral.
It deserves a thousand thank-yous from every social media user who felt Alex's passing so deeply that it affected them personally.
Because tell me... Who dares to make an 11-minute vlog at a burial of someone who's death touched the entire and not get dragged for it? WOW
I genuinely hope Kunle Remi takes time every now and then to appreciate how extraordinary he is.
1. For some people, that vlog may have been their first introduction to his chaotic style.
2. After all, Alex Ekubo's name has probably introduced a lot of first-time creators to many corners of the internet this month, from those chasing clout, to those who genuinely couldn't hold back their pain, to people discussing every single logistics involved.
So yes, some people may have seen that vlog style for the first time.
3. But for those of us already familiar with the "BABAAA" side of Kunle Remi 🤭, the moment we heard the opening statement of "Before you start asking where's Kunle.."🤭, we already knew we were about to be taken on a soothing ride.
4. How the l vlog balanced everything perfectly is what one can't explain. From lightening the heavy mood... To calling @Real_IkOgbonna the surviving member of Chop Money Gang 😹... To his usual attacks on @_deyemi, which have somehow become a mandatory part of every vlog .
5. And then there was the dark humor.. The subtle shade directed at the only person who wore black to the service of songs and came prepared to spot errors and issues online.
If you know, you know 👀.
6. Can we also talk about how he addressed the whole "people are eating at a young man's burial" conversation that had social media in a chokehold?
That moment when in the vlog where he yelled: "Alex, if you can hear me, they dey eat for your burial o... Alex o!"
Or was it that @Nons_mirajj part! I completely lost it 😹.
7. Kunle Remi is such a gift, man. He really is. Lately, we haven't seen much of this side of him because he's been unapologetically lending his voice to conversations around terrible governance in Nigeria.
So seeing this version of him again felt like... Pheeeew. A calm in the storm.
8. And trust me, I am saying this as someone who watched the Omoni Oboli movie dedicated to Alex and loved every bit of it.
But I don't know if I'm the only one who still felt heavy after it ended.
9. Because just remembering some of Alex's slangs in the movie...Like the way he said "RUBBESHHHH!" Or the way he would call Michelle..."Oh baby..."Kai 🥺.
10. So you can now understand why this vlog felt different. It felt like subtle healing.
And more importantly, a proof that Alex really had people. He truly did. And this vlog reminded us of that.
11. What even impressed me the most was that in all the jokes, all the laughter, and all the moments that made us smile, Kunle never once shoved the camera into the faces of Alex's wife or visibly grieving family members.
That level of awareness and respect deserves its own applause.
12. If you get to see this, God bless you, sir Kunle Remi. You're a great dad, a great man, and a special ingredient in an already noisy world.
And one day, I hope you finally give a name to that legendary vlog voice-over accent 😹. Because at this point, it deserves one.
If you read to the end, please leave a big GOD BLESS YOU SIR KUNLE REMI.
As always, Thank you for coming to my T€d Writes ✍🏿.

I love listening to Tiwi, Kunle Remi's wife, sooooooooo much! She's a vibe. Her YouTube channel, BarebyBKO is sooo cool. @KunleRemi , could you please show her this for me? Thanks.
Nigeria is beginning to look like a country where criminals move with more confidence than citizens. That should terrify every1 of us. Bcos when people stop believing they are protected, they start believing they are alone. Nd that’s a dangerous place for any nation to be.
@DanielRegha Especially the nonsense @KunleRemi typed. He should never repeat that. That muslims should suspend Sallah. Yet, his Okonjuwa meet and greet was not postponed. Did he and those that accept his statement suspend sleeping with their wives and girlfriends?
The way my mother has shared the link to Hannah to more groups and more of her friends, I just know she’s proud that her daughter has done a major Faith-based film!
Love her to bits! ❤️
Happy Sunday my people, please watch Hannah, showing on Iseda TV!
