Last week I hosted family for Thanksgiving.
My 12-year-old nephew asked for the WiFi password.
He wanted to play Roblox on his iPad.
I looked at the device.
Unmanaged. No antivirus. No encryption.
I’m an IT Professional. I don't run an open network.
So I didn’t give him the password.
Instead, I spent 45 minutes provisioning a Guest VLAN.
I set up a captive portal.
I throttled the bandwidth down to 56kbps.
Then I blocked all traffic on ports 80 and 443.
He came back crying. He said it wouldn't load.
My sister screamed at me to "just let him play."
I told her that Zero Trust architecture doesn't care about bloodlines.
We didn't have a "fun" Thanksgiving.
But we had a secure perimeter.
You’re welcome for the compliance.
Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll deserve to be fired #Giants Not sure why this needs to be said every week, but I'll keep saying it until the Giants develop some standards again
You guys nuked this deal so you can poach subscribers to your hilariously underwhelming app.
YOU are what’s bad for the consumer. Your PR campaign isn’t fooling anybody.
Grade-A clowns.
Don’t get blasted by 6-7 Oklahoma…?
Duke was 9-3, same record as Alabama. Where were they in the CFP conversation?
People don’t realize how much their strength of schedule was REWARDED to even be somewhat close to the CFP discussion as a 9-3 team with a terrible blowout loss.
This is how team talent (which then impacts strength of schedule) is determined
So Texas got 2 years of team talent benefit from having him on the roster, didn’t develop him at all, & now BYU gets a worse team strength for the same guy
Glad ESPN wants this over who wins games!
