Hard work truly does pay off. 8th Nationally in ERA, 10th in
WHIP. And he's just starting to scratch the surface... I'm excited to see what he does next year as a sophomore.

@CBKReport Figuring there are only 4 teams who have won 20+games the last 6 seasons, I'm trying to figure out why Illinois isn't ranked higher? The other 3 teams? Houston, Gonzaga, San Diego St. And SDSU isn't even listed! Only Big10 team that can compete with that is Purdue.Inaccurate list

Another good day at the plate. This kid takes "next level approaches". Uses all fields, not afraid to hit with 2 strikes, great 2 strike approach who rarely strikes out. Late bloomer with a great work ethic. Did I mention he has a 4.3 GPA?...

This man helped shape my life. I arguably learned more from him in 2 years than I have learned in a lifetime. Such a wonderful human being. Itchy will certainly be missed!
Few coaches developed more lifetime relationships or had the impact on his players and colleagues as the legendary Richard C. “Itch” Jones.
Our love and thoughts are with his family.

@JShumanTV Adapt and Overcome! 1 team did, the other team didn't . Sounds like sour grapes by a lot of people, which is frustrating. Kudos to the coach for understanding that they could not win playing their regular style of game. To my understanding they got beat by 30 earlier this year...
@PitchingNinja Only strikes I see are the ones the ump called, which weren't any, so why are people upset? Stop looking at the stupid "K" zone. Those are 50/50 pitches. Everyone is acting like the pitches were right down the middle. Most be Philly fans...
@BballisV3ryGood @Hennen_Workouts Well figuring I have 25 years worth of experience as a ref and 15 at the college level, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. If you don't believe me, read the rule book. Rarely called at the men's level because it happens so quick, but that is the rule.
