Lawyer conduct is one driver of #insurance costs. Across most lines of insurance, insurers are seeing an outsized growth in lawsuit verdicts and, in turn, ultimate claims settlement costs. Texas led the nation in “nuclear verdicts,” or jury awards >$10 million, in 2024.
