“If we refuse to forgive, we are effectively saying that sins committed against us are more significant than sins committed against God, who has forgiven us in Christ.” —Dr. Keith Mathison speaking in chapel today from Matthew 18
Empathy makes you experience the life of other people. Folks are going through storms and raging seas. Always be thankful that your sail is not tumultuous.

Our mindset is very important, we are conditioned to view every situation as a life-changing event. This can lead to unrealistic expectations.
To quote a friend, “...this is why we can't have nice things.”
We are unthankful and unappreciative.
A customer was left disappointed after travelling from the Volta Region to the Greater Accra Region to redeem a gift from Ecobank, only to find that its contents were not what he expected.
A child who memorizes a psalm at age 7 might not understand it.
But at seventeen, in the middle of the night, when the world is pressing in and he doesn't know what to do, the words might surface at the precise moment he needs them. They will be there because you put them there.
This is the work of a parent. You are planting things for your children that might not bloom for a decade (or more). Scripture, poetry, the great speeches of greater men.
If your theological convictions are not actively making you more gracious, humble, and repentant than your beliefs are not being shaped by Jesus they’re motivated by a desire to be argumentatively “right.”
🚨 Ghana 🇬🇭 and Jamaica 🇯🇲 are fast-tracking a Bilateral Air Service Agreement currently before their respective parliaments to pave the way for direct flights between Accra and Montego Bay.
The agreement will allow national carriers or third-party airlines to operate the route.
Reading a book in public is only performative to people that don’t read books. To a reader, every waiting room, park bench, and train carriage is another potential chapter.
Christianity is confusing to practise when
you live only for this world. It is dry
when only this life is real to you.
Christianity is sweet when you have a real
hope that reaches beyond this passing world
and into eternal life.
Issues like faith, providence, justice will make no sense if this life is all that there is.
