@SchwurDesAmy As a thoosie approaching their 40th birthday, nah. I can definitely tell the difference between a ride that’s intense but smooth (like i305, Voyage, and AFO) vs one that’s just downright rough (Boss at SFSL I’m looking at you). Intensity can still be appreciated without roughness

@hawkvandelay Boss at SFSL. It’s jackhammer city and it’s *long* so it just keeps hammering and hammering. I love CCIs but that’s one of their worst misses IMO.

@TRPhotography23 @SFMagicMountain It was only running 2 trains when I went on it last February but we did get a duel in the second half which was exciting. I’ve heard they’ve been better about getting duels going since they’ve brought 3 trains back last summer but it’s still dependent on guests loading quickly

@Wicked_Cyclone One of my first non-Disney coasters when it was Vampire at Kentucky Kingdom. I didn’t know it was a common clone model as a kid so I got really excited when I saw the model in RCT

@hawkvandelay It’s a ton of fun but not super rerideable IMO. My partner liked it but it gave them a headache. I faired better but still wasn’t itching to get back on it despite liking it a lot. Not as bad as some made me think it would be, but still rougher than it probably should be

@apbusch @hawkvandelay I must be lucky because I’ve always gotten the right crowd on all my rides. And yeah it drops out from under you in a way that few coasters (especially newer ones) do
