@stlcrdnlsfn08 Being a manager myself, the employees that I’ve had to dismiss didn’t accept criticism well and they were rarely hard workers who wanted to get better.

But we’ll agree to disagree. At the end of the day I just want to see the Cardinals back in contention.

Not my point here, I think we can all agree it is a night and day difference from where he was defensively in the outfield to where he is now. Those things don’t happen without hard work. I get the organizational secrecy that the FO engages with the media.

If what they are saying is true, then his defense should not have improved as well, correct? To Jordan’s credit, he didn’t take the bait and respond with an ill-timed comment regarding the criticism. But I’m sorry, as a long time Cards fan, I was disappointed in the public thrashing from a “tight lipped” organization.

Why all of a sudden is he deemed “uncoachable”, that’s certainly not what we’ve heard from Jon Jay or Willie McGee in terms of defensive coaching. He’s made huge strides defensively from where he was in the outfield and that is a direct result of hard work, studying and preparation.

So are we suddenly supposed to believe that this kid is not receptive to constructive criticism? I don’t buy it.

I didn’t agree with Oli and Brant Brown sort of throwing Walker under the bus like that. Has he underachieved this year? Sure, but so have many others not named as well. His swing has been retooled several times so far in his early big league career.

Jim Edmonds said it best during Walker’s rookie season. Let Walker learn to hit MLB pitching first, then tweak the mechanics. By the way, his rookie season was solid with a decent average and multiple game hitting streaks sandwiched in between.

@MacRumors This is a miss. iPhone 12 &13 users who perhaps would like to upgrade & have some new features at a lower price point w/out the need for an advanced camera will feel underwhelmed. Especially if they have amassed a collection of MagSafe accessories.
