Допомога Польщі Україні виявилася майже вдвічі меншою, ніж заявляли польські політики. Таких висновків дійшов експосол Польщі в Україні Марек Зюлковський у своєму дослідженні.

Офіційні дані завищували, порівнюючи витрати з ВВП Польщі за 2021 рік, а також включали до допомоги витрати на українських біженців усередині країни. Якщо ж рахувати за реальними показниками, допомога у 2022-2023 роках становила близько 1,7% ВВП, а не майже 5%.

Також українські біженці суттєво підтримали польську економіку: створили тисячі бізнесів, сплачують податки та зробили вагомий внесок у зростання ВВП країни.

The world is largely ignoring the scale of North Korea’s involvement in Russia’s war against Ukraine.

North Korean ballistic missiles are being fired at Ukrainian cities, while another 30,000 North Korean troops have reportedly begun arriving in Russia.

If reports of this second deployment are correct, it would bring North Korea’s total commitment to around 60,000 personnel.

To put that figure into perspective, in sheer manpower it is comparable to a substantial proportion, if not all of the British Army’s regular deployable ground forces, including its infantry, with the Royal Marines added for comparison.

This is no longer peripheral support.

North Korea is contributing significant military manpower and ballistic-missile capability to a war in Europe.

Last night, Russia killed three people in Pukhivka, Kyiv region, with drone strikes – a grandfather, a grandmother, and their grandson. The boy was only three years old. Four more people were hospitalized: the child’s parents, his 15-year-old brother, and a neighbor who came to the family’s aid and was wounded in a double-tap strike. The victims suffered thermal burns and shrapnel wounds. My condolences… It was an ordinary residential building. The Russians could not have been unaware of this. There was also a strike involving six ballistic missiles against civilian infrastructure in Kyiv. As of now, one person has been reported dead. My condolences to the family and loved ones. The Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions also came under attack.

Europe, America, and Ukraine have long wanted to stop this Russian war. Only Putin doesn’t want to, and he’s desperately clinging to his ballistic missiles and drones to keep the war going. More pressure is needed. New sanctions that will prevent the production of these ballistic missiles. And we definitely need more protection for our people. Anti-ballistic capabilities, interceptor missiles for Patriot, SAMP/T, NASAMS, Hawk, and our F-16s – all of this works and helps protect lives when it is here, in Ukraine, rather than sitting in warehouses thousands of kilometers away from Russian strikes against life. I thank everyone who shows leadership and, despite everything, provides new air defense packages.
