Lately I’ve been trying to focus on one thing: execution. Not overthinking, just doing—because that’s where real growth happens. You learn by trying, failing, adjusting, and going again.

Talking things through is great, but consistent action is what really moves the needle.

In a business meeting today, someone immediately tried to connect with me by saying “I’ve been to South Africa” when I mentioned my home country—as if an entire continent shares one address.

The compulsion to find common ground, while well-intentioned,

often reveals our discomfort with difference. We rush to build bridges with “I know that place” or “I’ve been there too,” but genuine connection doesn’t require shared geography.

The most meaningful conversations I’ve had were with people who simply said “tell me about that”

Some people hesitate to share business ideas, fearing theft. But I believe that the more you talk about them, the more they become real and actionable. Sharing sparks progress, and collaboration can lead to greater innovation and growth.

Starting a business will take twice as long and cost twice as much as you think. But hey, at least you'll have a great story (and empty pockets)!

My biggest takeaway was seeing firsthand how deeply Rwanda is committed to connecting its global community and how we, in turn, can become even more -

Beyond the powerful conversations, I had the chance to connect with local banks about meaningful ways to invest back home. It gave me an even stronger sense of belonging and pride — a reminder of the purpose that ties us all-

Get it out there. You'll learn way more from real customer feedback than you ever will from endless tweaking behind the scenes. It's like, launch, learn, refine. That's where the magic happens

Here's a truth bomb I've learned the hard way: if you wait for 'perfect' before launching something new, you'll be waiting forever. Seriously. That service or product you're sitting on? It's never gonna feel 100% ready.
Honestly, the best move is to just launch it.

My takeaway lately? "Say more with less." We're overloaded, and more words just create more questions. Getting to the point, especially at work, is key. It's a skill worth developing.
