• Great visuals
• Stacked monster battles throughout the entire movie
• More depth to the monster lore
• Godzilla and Kong having separate storylines then colliding together to defeat the new evil
• The villain is the best one in the series

According to Bloomberg some PlayStation Studios were not comfortable with making GAAS games 👀

• Under Jim Ryan, studios made a pivot to make games as a service titles

• Jim Ryan made the big point of pushing 10 GAAS titles by 2026

• According to Jason Schreier It’s been an uncomfortable pivot for some of Sony’s studios, which have spent the last decade building out teams of experienced developers to make big, cinematic adventure games that are played solo

I will say, Naughty Dog is not new to MP games, Horizon’s been meant to have a MP mode since Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima already had a MP ready, etc

This is all before Jim Ryan took over

I think the difference now is just full on GAAS games independent of a Single Player mode
