🇺🇬 Remembering a life of courage and sacrifice.
Maj. Hannington Mugabi was among the original 27 fighters who launched the armed struggle in 1981, becoming part of a defining chapter in Uganda’s history.
Decades later, his contribution remains a reminder of the courage and conviction that shaped the liberation struggle.
On September 15, we honour the fallen warriors and reflect on the legacy they left for future generations.
Their lives may have ended. Their spirit lives on.

My decision to attend thePLU launch was well thought and not casual.
A decision to join or not to join @PLUsecretariat will also be well thought.

Some sacrifices become part of a nation’s history. Others become part of its spirit.
General Aronda Nyakairima dedicated his life to Uganda, from the NRA struggle to his service as CDF of the UPDF and later Minister of Internal Affairs. His leadership, courage and commitment left a lasting mark on the country he served.
As we commemorate his life, we honour not only the warrior, but the values, sacrifice and patriotism he represented.
His spirit is still alive. 🇺🇬

People keep asking me what I fear, let me tell you. I fear God Almighty, my creator. I fear my father, Mzee Museveni. I fear my mother, Maama Janet, I fear Afande Saleh...my uncle. I also fear my second uncle, Afande Paul Kagame.
