@wuboomm@GeneralMorkov likely not that important, or it wouldn't have been shown in the trailer otherwise, probs just a reference to remind you (yes, you🫵🏻) of the flower theme cause its featured in OF's battle
@SmolAltNoko i feel like toby isnt this big "gotcha" machine, if flowey was to be present on the chapter (even with the flower n colors symbolism) i do genuinely think he'd have told us (or like through little snippets like C3's green room or smth)
also toby pls stop NOT illustrating anything occurring in the overworld visually unless it's a gag. chars constantly awkwardly narrating subtle body language, speaking effectively directly to the player about visual storytelling that is only told, not shown is sooo dooogshit

you can argue that Deltarune isn’t supposed to be a particularly crunchy game with tons of abilities and strategies to employ and that the JRPG flavor is there to differentiate the Dark World from the Light World yadda yadda but its SOOOO bleak. please. MORE.
