@KyengeraC TC has officially sworn in Mayor-Elect Joseph Semugera Bitokote together with 49 councillors in a ceremony held today at the headquarters, presided over by CAO Bukenya Mark Jude. The new leadership now takes office to serve the town council.

Today we received a set of new leaders that will supervise business for @WakisoTC for the next 5 years.

I witnessed the swearing in of Honorable Councilors led by the LC3 Chairperson.

As the clerk to Council I received a very energetic & youthful set of Speakers.

Kyengera Town Council held its budget approving council at Molly’s place in Katereke Kyengera Town Council.

This also marked the final sitting of the political term of our dear councillors. We thank the Chariperson Mr. Walukagga and all other councillors.

Kyengera Town Council had a pleasure of hosting the Chief Administrative officer of Wakiso District. Mr. Bukenya Jude Mark was welcomed to our newly constructed Town council hall for his familiarization tour.

DCAO Kiiza Godfrey Rwakijuma called for stronger project monitoring in Kyengera TC, emphasizing accountability, monthly PDM reporting & value for money. He inspected the Admin Block (85% complete), Busawuula PS & Nsangi PS, urging timely completion and better coordination.

Works on the Bukasa–Sentema–Kakiri Road have reached 30% completion.
Earthworks & drainage are ongoing, with 5km expected to be tarmacked by June. The contractor CICO has commended the community for over 90% cooperation.
