There’s been a lot of chatter about recent FAPRI study suggesting year-round E15/SRE reform bill would be bad for soybeans & BBD. Just throwing this out there: FAPRI used 2026-27 BBD RVO assumptions that are 1.6 BG lower than reality in 2026 & 1.3 BG lower in 2027. They also missed extra 700 MG added to conventional RVO for both 2026-27. How can anyone take the analysis seriously given such whiffs on the RVOs? How much would their results change if they used the right numbers?!

As we’ve said all along, year-round access to lower-cost #E15 is a bipartisan, nationwide issue! Last week’s vote on HR 1346 proves it. From California to the New York island, from the redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters, 122 Republicans, 95 Democrats, and 1 Independent united to vote for lower prices at the pump, cleaner air, a stronger farm economy, and greater energy independence. We thank them for working together to advance this crucial legislation. Now, on to the Senate, where we hope to see the same bipartisanship, cooperation, and urgency!

More E15 confusion… it is not just a midgrade fuel - it is now sold as 6 different octane levels. Hearing of 88 octane? It barely makes up half of all sales now. Why? E15 is finally taking its place in prime time and replacing regular gasoline at 87 octane. #ethanol

E15 fuel economy back center stage. Here are MPG results from California testing. Average loss was 1.3% but note some saw MPG gain! The fuel is averaging a national discount of 8% today. Your cost per mile goes down with E15 - there is no debate. Add ethanol - octane goes up, cost goes down.

As we wait for year-round E15 approval, retailers like @Sheetz are doing their part by offering it for a 50-cent discount to drivers w/ 2001 & newer vehicles (flex fuel vehicles too). Those represent nearly 98% of all light-duty vehicles on the roads today. #ethanol
