Thoughts on @wachuwbb / @WachusettAD:

- Teegan Lanpher was brilliant. Played with so much heart, as usual, and was lethal with her floaters and runners.

- Sophie Gibbons managed the game well, took what the defense gave her and set her teammates up for success.

- Jaelynn Scott made smart decisions in transition and dictated the tempo.

- Kyla Yurkus had a strong all-around game and helped the Mountaineers grab a steady stream of rebounds.

- Lucy Gibbons made the most of her opportunity and hit her free throws @GlobeSchools @TeeganLanpher @sophiegibbonss @JaelynnScott8 @KylaYurkus

Caught a pair of HS basketball practices today.

First was Hopedale girls, who will play in the D5 state final Sunday (12 p.m) at Tsongas Center.

Second was Wachusett girls, who will play in the D1 state final Saturday (4 p.m.) at Tsongas Center.
