@JALTBEIE@killbotrix@Sapsterr_ You’re not factoring in the players decision into the equation. At the end of the day, the players choose to play with the injuries too…. Medical staff can give their best recommendations but it’s the players choice weather they want to play
@Sapsterr_ IMO garland kills plays when he’s with star players. Takes too many shots from bad areas and also throws a lot of blind passes. Hes better when he drives the 3rd line
@CanucksArmy OEL wasn’t actually that bad in Vancouver. Playing with Myers (prior to Tochett arrival) didn’t help. But also Hughes took a lot of special team minutes away from him which didn’t put him in a position to succeed.
@DonTaylor5 Do u think there’s some worry that his playing style will get him kicked out of games? Looking at how the world juniors has been called, it’s likely he would get penalized for illegal hits with the rule differences. Not saying he shouldn’t be on the team. Just a thought
@RJHenderson7@CanucksFanWI@stuff99 Pettersson was the problem with the culture. How many times did you hear that people have to ask him to work hard. Tochett and Hughes won’t say it but it was frustrating. Miller did say it and he got painted as the evil guy, he just said what everyone else was thinking
@DJHeerMusic@Bainz_ What game are you watching lol. Boeser is a much more impactful player. When Debrusk is on his game, he’s a good player for sure. But to say that he’s much better than Boeser is not even close to reality. I’m taking Boeser all day. Much better on the walls and in the trenches.
@Sapsterr_ Maybe individual players didn’t do as well. But the overall team had more success. I’d say other than his tenure in Tampa, he had a lot more success with teams than anyone expected
