This is why I never have anything to say about oddities with ballistics. Bullets are actually magic and the laws of physics don't apply to them the way people think they do.
Why you struggle with a red dot.
Remember when cars took keys? You slid into the front seat you stuck the key in the ignition every single time, without even looking, without fail.
But you move your dad's truck or take your wife's car to the dealership, you struggle and fumble getting the key in the ignition and forget the emergency brake is between the seats, not a pedal on the floor.
Why is that?
Because through repetition you developed an index to where the ignition was in your car, but since you rarely drive the other cars, you had not developed an index.
That's why you can't find your red dot. You haven't drawn to a sight picture enough times for the perfect position of the red dot in relation to your eyes has not been hardwired into your system.
What's the solution? 5 minutes of drawing to a sight picture a day. After 2 weeks the dot will be where you need it to be. Just be sure to only move the parts of your body that need to move; ie your arms. Not your torso, not your neck.
@LizzieHasAGat It was added only to meet an import requirement and at this point is vestigial as the guns made in the USA dont even need that qualifier.
@pandthepistol If a person is trying to quantify rounds per hour in a class, If the person didnt read the equipment requirements listed in every class posting, If the person cant even imagine on their own how ammo management in a class might work, the class isnt for them.
@SomeDudeTex@Guntalk Its actually for the sake of expecting more from someone people percieve to be an expert. That 7 yard group is unacceptable, ignorant people think its great. And the fact he posted it means he thinks its worthy of showing to his followers. Its not. And that needs highlighted.
