Spent yesterday evening with @GreaterCLE for the #AllIn Annual meeting and this morning with @TeamNEO for #NEORising. I can’t help but be inspired by the work being done and roll up my sleeves to help drive more #EconomicDevelopment in the region and state!
🏀 Great to see March Madness bringing fans from all over the country to Cleveland!
Downtown Cleveland is the perfect host for big events, offering scenic hotels just steps away from top-notch bars and restaurants—perfect for a pregame stop before heading to the arena!
12 years ago I was offered a job to move back to Ohio (from DC) and @spidadmitchell basically says my exact thoughts on coming to @CityofCleveland, except for a couple of differences…
* “traded” = accepted a job
* New York = Columbus
* “on the floor” = in my career
Why did Donovan Mitchell choose to stay in Cleveland?
"From the minute I got here, I told my mom 'Yo, I really like it here.'"
"The passion from the fans, the food is good."
"Cleveland has just been amazing to me."
"I love it here."
He has truly made Cleveland home. #Cavs
Well this is quite interesting.
Natural gas electricity generation grows fastest into the 2030s in the *Net-Zero* scenario, according to Princeton's updated modeling of U.S. emissions pathways.
2024 has been out-of-this-world in Cleveland!

Big changes have taken place at @DominionEnergy in Dan Weekley’s first year as President, including the sale of East Ohio Gas and the recent rate filing. Join him this WED at noon to hear what it all means for Dominion and the Greater Cleveland community.

An “all of the above” approach is the only sensible solution. Anybody telling you that there isn’t a need for a particular type of energy source, particularly a highly productive, scalable, safe, affordable, and readily available one is selling you something else
"The rapid decline in solar output resulting from the recent eclipse was nearly entirely backfilled by a ramp-up in thermal [gas] generation" Source: https://t.co/Z9rNRzlEJb
The problem here is that most wasted energy is from thermal losses during electric power generation.
By contrast, the direct use of natural gas in homes and buildings is often far more efficient on a full-fuel-cycle basis, which accounts for all energy production, transportation, generation, and end use requirements.
Therefore, electrification might exacerbate wasted energy if new electric loads result in an increase in thermal electric power generation fuel requirements relative to direct use.
We're counting down the days! 📆 Join us Oct. 20 at the Cleveland Intercontinental for Celebration 2023. We’re excited that this year’s keynote speaker, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and Penguin Random House author is Connie Schultz. Get your tickets here: https://t.co/zRkRpgOCK1
