A6: experiencing this chat for the first time, I have learned that as a community we can empower our students to work towards the awareness of difference in human nature/ society. We must continuously advocate for a peaceful setting in the classroom and the community #nctechat

A5: I don’t have a specific resource, but I implore students to find their favorite works, author, poet, etc. the best resources or readings, I find, are the ones in which we can relate to. The ones that truly hit home. #nctechat

A4: the most important thing would be to allow an area that is free of judgement. Allow for everyone to have a voice. The best way to establish a relative opinion would be to become informed #nctechat

A3: show students the different cultures of the world. Let the students become more exposed to the culture through curricular activity. This leads to a possible interest and, at least, engagement within the classroom setting #nctechat

A2: Since I have yet to have my own classroom, I look at the opportunities of expression in the community. We hold festivals and chats where students talk about who they are, what they enjoy, and how they can successfully express themselves. #nctechat

A1 part 2: with that being said, I feel like there can always be more to explore. What we deem sacred or relevant to text can be limited to our acceptance of resources and advancement #nctechat
