Last month we demonstrated our ability to communicate in/out of faraday cages and RF denied environments @LosAlamosNatLab.
I'd like to put one of our devices on a drone and put it against a jammer. Anyone down?
Shoot me a DM if you want to chat.
@realronanx@abandoncomfortx@GeorgeRoush The biggest one is the drains the come off the sun roof. If the exit drain nipple breaks off on of those they drain into a very important wire harnesses. Always check to see if the floor boards are wet if you’re looking at one, if it is, stay away.
A lot of bad information on these post. I’ve owned two of these and driven the collectively 100s of thousands miles. Motor came from Jaguar when ford owned them, very solid. Big things on these are the air suspension and the electronics. There’s a few very cheap preventative maintenance in these you can do to make them bullet proof. Happy to answer any questions.
Day one of building manufacturing capability in New Mexico.
What I want to stand up:
- CNC machining
- Chromate conversion coatings
- Anodizing
- Electrodeposition
Stretch goal: Class 2 PCB fabrication.
I bet we can do it for under $500k.
@i2cjak Turn your environmental sensor into a wildfire sensor, put a LoRaWAN module on it, and let’s pilot it with one of our customers who’s asked about this.
@markgallagher_2 All 2nd hand auctions. We’ve pieced together a hell of a research lab this way. Most expensive piece we don’t have a plan for is the PCB stuff. We have a plan for a large plating tank, fume hoods, and CNC.
