If I am ever the benevolent dictator of a Country Club or Golf Club, one of my first acts will be to end Friday Night Couples golf.

Before everyone gets all angry with me, I understand it's profitable and it builds community and all that.

But, I can also tell you that as a guy whose spouse doesn't play, there is nothing more disheartening to have a full week of work, and think "Maybe I can cut out at 3 on Friday to play golf," only to learn that the course is closed at 5 for Couples Golf.

First world problem for sure...but watch out if I'm ever a benevolent dictator.
