@byanymeansbball Ive incorporated a ton creative ways (CLA/ differential shooting/ etc) during pre draft to accomplish both goals: combine prep/ preparation for the league.
Send me a dm and letβs chat more.
@byanymeansbball My point is the playerβs themselves are nervous, anxious, and will in fact be in front of every team doing these drills. My job, and any coach working w them during this time, is to do our absolute best to get them to master every part of it.
@byanymeansbball Not at all. Itβs a frustration point every year and im sure we can have a very productive, healthy, fun and exciting discussion about what the combine should entail, given your background and mine.
@byanymeansbball Itβs not my job to critique the drills of which they will be evaluated on, itβs my job to rise to the playerβs level of excellence in preparing them as best as we can.
@byanymeansbball These drills, the athletic testing and shooting drills themselves, are not the best for growth, itβs about the playerβs and the fact that they are within reach of something we all dreamt of. And the anxiety and pressure of this process, that THEY feel, is unlike any other.
@byanymeansbball The eval process is flawed, but anything that has the potential to move the needle the slightest bit for these guys is something we prepare them for to the utmost degree to the smallest detail.

Keegan Murray is the new all-time single-season 3PM record holder for rookies π―
He surpassed Donovan Mitchell's record with this shot (187 3PM).

"If he [Keegan Murray] breaks that record [All-Time most 3PM by a rookie] and he's not 1st Team All-Rookie especially with our team record, then all this is bullsh*t in my opinion."
