@jacobmisal Would like to point out that there were 3 lines of succession to the presidency in that building. So to put the blame on the mayor for not being able to see such an act is unfair. Clear it’s way bigger than the mayor my friend.

@jacobmisal The initial post WAS insinuating race was a factor. Full stop. There is clearly a dramatic difference between protesting for systemic injustices and a white supremacist attempted coup. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. DO NOT GROUP US TOGETHER.

@jacobmisal This is not normal and the fact the many people are downplaying domestic terrorism and an attack on our democracy by shifting blame to everyone except those who encouraged such an uproar is ANNOYING.

@jacobmisal The response of the riot was awful, but not the riot itself? Whether this was foreseen or not, the events that unfolded at our capital building was upsetting, to say the very least.

@jacobmisal But we can easily sit here, waste time and talk about what the mayor of DC did the day before hell even a week before, but she took action THE DAY OF by requesting for additional troops. Which is far more than I can say about your President.

@jacobmisal To be clear, Mayor Bower requested for the national guard twice (stated previously). Tuesday the pentagon DID offer the Capitol Police & DC additional National Guard troops but was turned down with the letter you are referring to. Which I agree was a mistake.
