@L_E_Bendon Definitely same. This account is new but I've been here since 2011. Being in the writing world is very new. I'm just so used to all the encouragement herrle, so these are so jarring. It's mostly a very good place to be!

The problem - all the whining, crying, trepidation - is about the #WritingCommmunity wanting money. You think you hit a professional standard with your "WIPs." You don't. If you want to be happy and loved for writing, stop chasing after a buck. Do it as a hobby. #amquerying #MSWL

@GaryScottKadet I'm not chasing after a buck with my writing, I have a six figure tech job....this is my hobby. Is this because I said it gave me something to work on? An agent gets you access to professional editors and I hope for that. Very confused by this and why you chose my tweet

Got a rejection with actual feedback and while it's never fun, it does tell me they read my whole query and it gives me something to work on, so I count it as a win 👍🏻 #amquerying #WritingCommunity

If you're giving advice to a querying author, I'd suggest assuming they have done as much research as you have.
Yes, I know my word count is high. Yes, I know most rejections are form rejections. I customize my QLs based on submission guidelines. I'm not in this on a whim 😕
