solo dates hacks every man should try, at least once every year
1. take yourself to the cinema alone. buy popcorn. pick a seat you actually want. laugh, cry if you need to. no one talking to you. just you and the movie.
2. go to a cafe on a weekday. order a drink and a small pastry. sir by the window and face your phone down for a bit. watch people going to work, students rushing, cars passing, birds singing, children playing, just life moving in that pace.
3. book a nice but affordable hotel in your city. pack a small overnight bag like you're traveling. order room service or buy food on the way. take a long cold shower, wear your robe, lie on the bed and do nothing if you want. journal, watch a movie, listen to a relaxing music, sleep in clean white sheets and covers with the ac on.
4. take yourself on a saturday breakfast. wake up early, shower, wear something cute. go somewhere that serves breakfast. sit there, and order something nice. enjoy your meal, take some selfies even if you not photogenic.
5. enjoy yourself man. come on, you deserve it. you need it.

Uploading static images on Irev is not transmission. Transmission means sending results from the polling units to the collation centres and real time means votes are sent directly to the collation immediately after you thumb print. The transmit real time, we must vote and collate electronically.
Irev is not a collation tool. It is a data repository to store form EC8A. Votes are sorted, counted, and collated manually. Copies of form EC8A are given to all party agents and the police and another copy is uploaded on iREV. Do you mean if the copy is not uploaded on IREV immediately via Irev, the polling unit should be cancelled despite the presence of other physical copies of the EC8A? I just want to know what the protest is all about and where the mandatory / real-time would be inserted in the act.
“You can’t sleep with a serious babe”
Well, people sleep with married women a lot more than we like to admit. Yet marriage is the most serious stage in any relationship.
That said, there are some women you can never sleep with, not because they're in serious relationships but because they have dignity.
A woman in a serious, long-term relationship whose boyfriend caters to all her needs would still sleep around if she lacks self-dignity.
Don't even get guys started on how many people’s serious babes they've slept with. Some of these girls have gone on to marry the guys they cheated on. Would you say that a relationship that led to marriage was not serious?
So, focus on getting a woman with self-worth and respect for her body who wouldn't even consider lying with another man irrespective of how bad or unserious your relationship with her gets.
Finally, if a woman has ever told you that she would cheat back if you ever cheated on her, she has no dignity and would sleep around at the slightest inconvenience, if she isn't already doing so.
There’s this guy that newly moved into our compound. I think education affected his brain. I mean can I say he is educationally mad?.( Abi what English will I use again?)
He studied electrical engineering. And he is into coding and what not.
This boy will go to your change over switch abi control switch and lose everything. He even told us that the electrician that wired the whole compound did a bad job. That he would love to go inside everyone’s apartment to do a rewiring. In fact the whole compound.
He went to the compound’s electrical box and did whatever he did and the whole compound electricity went off. No one knew what happened, we thought Nepa generally took the light. Until we got back in the night and found out he was the one that went to lose it and couldn’t fix it. We called an electrician around 10pm last night to come and fix it.
This night again I just bumped into this guy downstairs with tools going towards that direction again.
If anything happens to our light again this night , he will regret moving into this compound ooooo.
Northern Nigeria is irredeemable, not because of its people, but because every single person in power there has chosen blood money over human lives.
Every governor. Every senator. Every House of Reps member. Every local government chairman. They are not just failing to stop terrorism, they are active shareholders in it.
Kidnapping, banditry, and mass murder are no longer crimes in the North; they are the region’s most profitable industry, and the political elite are the CEOs.
The President knows exactly what is happening, He sees the rivers of blood, hears the cries of widows and orphans, yet he does nothing because he is terrified of losing the northern vote in 2027.
For the sake of power, he is willing to sacrifice the entire nation on the altar of political expediency. That is not leadership, that is cowardice dressed in agbada.
There is only one permanent cure for this cancer eating Nigeria alive, DISSOLUTION!!!
Let the North go. Let them keep their almajiri factories that produce child soldiers and future bandits.
Let them keep their version of Sharia that shields murderers while flogging the poor.
Let them keep their “repentant” terrorists who are recycled back into the bush with bags of cash.
Let them keep the hell they designed, built, and refuse to dismantle.
Because as long as Nigeria remains one country, the rest of us will keep paying the price in ransoms measured in billions, in the bodies of schoolchildren buried in shallow graves, in the tears of mothers who will never see their daughters again.
Even our own soldiers, brave men and women who swore to defend us are handcuffed by Aso Rock.
They are ordered to “contain,” not eliminate. They watch bandits escape with laughter because someone higher up has a brother, a cousin, or a business partner collecting ransom on the other side.
Keeping Nigeria together is no longer unity. It is national suicide.

-Banke Oniru-
You can go ahead and insult or call me names if you wish, but the honest truth is that this reckless statement can only be made against Lagos and the Yorubas; no other people will ever tolerate it in this country. Go to the North, try dismissing Hausa heritage in Kano, and see what happens.
Come here in the East, belittle Igbo culture in Onitsha, and you’ll get the same. But when it comes to Yorubas in Lagos, suddenly everyone thinks they can erase identity and treat the land as if it belongs to nobody.
Lagos is not just a “melting pot,” it is Yoruba land first, and that fact can never be wished away. It is because of Yoruba land that Lagos exists for you to even host exhibitions.
It is because of Yoruba hospitality that people from everywhere feel free to come and thrive. Yet instead of gratitude, what we see is arrogance.....dismissing the heritage of the very people who gave you the platform!!
Ówàḿbẹ̀ is Yorùbá culture.
Ó wà ni ibẹ̀ = it's abounds there or it is in abundance there.
the question is, what is happening/abounds/in abundance there? and where is "there"
Food/drinks/dance/merriment/fashion/trends etc. abound there.
The "there" is the place where those things abound-- a party
The word for party also is "òde àríyá"
òde= outside (ìjẹ́bú Òde/ ojú òde )
rí = to see/to experience
yá= to be agile/well
meaning "the outside you go to and become agile/well by the virtue of what you see or/and experienced.
ayẹyẹ is ceremony= meaning "befitting" or "befits"
àjọyọ̀ is celebration= meaning "the act of rejoicing together"
we live. we love life. we enjoy life together.
culture is not static. culture is dynamic.

One of the funniest comments I saw was that I have been paid to run propaganda against the Ondo State Governor. But honestly, how do you discredit a government that has no credit? Maybe the only ‘credit’ worth mentioning is the Governor surrounding himself with incompetent hands, save for just one exception.
I even laid an Özil-like pass, hoping they would list the Governor’s achievements for us. Instead, what came back were only insults and zero counterpoints. That, in itself, confirmed why the government is ranked bottom.
Then came Small Alhaji asking if we actually live in Ondo. That had me laughing the most yesterday. But Small Alhaji is my guy, so I will let that one slide. My only prayer is that in a few years’ time, the Governor will not suddenly decide he wants to run for President, because when that day comes, we will surely go and verify.
