the first time I went to hospital to have a baby, at some point deep in the night, the Doctor went to sleep but left an intern doctor in charge. the former told the latter to call him iff cs is required.

at the end, the baby was delivered normally in the presence of the intern doctor and midwives.

when government is off, interns are in charge. why not pay them?
