THE STRIKE IS ON. At 2pm Monday, 140 drivers, warehouse and sales employees walked off the job to protest the company’s illegal and unfair labor practices -- including bargaining in bad faith, interrogation of workers, and coercive statements intended to chill union activity.

Reminders about picket line etiquette:

· Wear your union or DSA gear, if possible. Dress for rain and chilly temps.
· Maletis workers are on strike, not us. Follow their lead.
· Offer support, don’t make demands.

It’s time to honor the workers who were unfortunately killed on the job in 2022.
We will have our annual Workers Memorial Day Program on Monday, April 24th, at 6:00pm, right before our Council meeting.
