A truly decent MP asks a perfectly fair question. He is told there is an investigation to find out the facts. What facts?
That the party happened?
That the PM attended?
That it broke the rules?
We need no investigation to establish this. What we need is an apology & a resignation
The Prime Minister had the opportunity to finally come clean about Downing Street’s lockdown-breaking parties.
But he didn’t even turn up.
Boris Johnson holds the British public in contempt.
In May 2020, the Government told us to only meet one other person outside.
Millions of people stuck to the rules. Often separated from loved ones.
Meanwhile, Boris Johnson’s Conservatives ignored them.
BREAKING:
The Conservative Party just voted against keeping energy bills low.
Instead of providing working families, pensioners and businesses with security, they are abandoning them.
The polls are now open for the Bransgore and Burley by-election at will remain open until 10pm tonight (23 December). If you're heading out to vote today, please remember to wear a mask and take your own pencil with you.

Millions of families took Government advice last Christmas and stayed at home - even if it meant being apart from loved ones.
Meanwhile the Government threw parties which they lied about.
Then they laughed about lying to you.
They hosted a party during lockdown.
They knew it was against the rules.
They knew they couldn’t admit it.
They thought it was funny.
Then they covered it up.
The Prime Minister must hand over everything the Government knows about the parties in Downing Street to the police.
Possibly naive question: why isn’t hugely ramping up hospital and ICU capacity on a permanent basis part of the long term covid solution alongside vaccines?
Yes, spare capacity is expensive. But so are pandemics.
(This is a genuine question to which I’d like an answer!).
This Tory Government: there’s nowhere to hide for those breaking the law.
Also this Tory Government: the police don’t investigate crimes of the past.
Don't pretend to be the party of law and order if you insist the rules don’t apply to you.

Great to be out meeting people in #Bransgore on Saturday morning. Lots of desire for change in the area, brilliant conversations with people looking for a new voice on New Forest District Council.
