This interview is all levels of problematic, riddled with prejudice and bias, and content that hasn't been researched properly. I'm struggling to understand how The University published this. Good lord. This is scandal. How did this get past marketing / PR? Scandal! 🙃🙃
Where is the evidence that prison rehabilitates? Why would yet more prisons improve the horrific data on rehabilitation? Money would be better spent on supporting communities which in turn would actually help local economies and support individuals/communities/businesses/industry
Valuing our NHS workforce through fair pay and conditions is crucial.
We cannot clap them for weeks and then fail to follow that up with meaningful action.
Last week Boris Johnson's words had the effect of misleading the House.
Now I am asking for the government to correct the record.
Change will only happen when we recognise Black Lives Matter.
No more real terms pay cuts or clapping for our carers without meaningful action. Our NHS is the jewel in our country's crown and our NHS heroes are our greatest asset. A pay rise is the least they deserve, which is why Labour is backing calls for a pay rise for our #NHS staff.
We can't just thank our NHS heroes: we must properly recognise what they have done.

Our cultural heritage has been hit hard with #coronavirus Theatres closing, live music decimated&musicians struggling, our performers, actors, those self employed in cultural enterprises out of work. The govt must do more&quick to support or we will end up a cultural wasteland.

As the NHS celebrates 72 years this weekend my Dad has just gone back to work after 3 months away due to Covid19. He’s been an NHS doctor for 58 of those 72.
