Well done to Cllr Greg Alderman who championed parents having access to free parking at Ashton Square car park during drop off and pick up times. This prevented the issue of traffic at peak school times moving to nearby streets.

We're glad to see that Central Bedfordshire Council are looking at implementing this scheme across Central Bedfordshire, and hope that they will provide parking alongside future schemes that are set up.

As part of her 20% pledge, Cllr Chloe Alderman has donated £217.14 to Tibbs to support them in continuing to provide vital dementia services to Houghton Regis. The money will go to games and kit to be used in sessions, and will support them in paying for their weekly hall hire
