Let me explain something. Our provinces receive billions of dollars of transfers from the Feds to cover healthcare costs. When 75% of hospitals are running deficits, this is because the funding is not being properly directed to the hospitals. The Province is solely at fault here.

#BREAKING: Doug Ford was in such a rush to hide his phone records that his Freedom of Information changes quietly received royal assent this morning, on a Friday, with the Legislature not even sitting.

I have sent urgent letters to:

1. The Secretary of Cabinet
2. The RCMP
3. Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner

Each is being asked to act immediately to safeguard evidence related to the Greenbelt scandal before this government can destroy it.

As Premier, I will reverse these changes and restore transparency, trust, and faith in our democracy.

Doug Ford went to court to keep his personal phone - the one he uses for government business - hidden from the public.

He lost.

So now he’s changing the law to dodge the ruling.

Ending hallway health care and longer wait times is simple: hire the staff to do it.

To keep up with the rest of the country, we would need to hire 48,000 more hospital staff.

Instead, this government is laying off healthcare workers with 1,000 jobs are being eliminated in hospitals in North Bay, Hamilton, London, Ottawa, Niagara and the GTA.

In addition to Doug Ford's staff seeing an 11% increase in salaries, Doug Ford's daughter Kara Ford has seen a 65% salary bump since 2022, including a 34% raise last year at Runnymede Healthcare Centre. She is now the 6th highest paid person in THE ENTIRE HOSPITAL.
