NTSB has released a new animation showing how the left engine separated from the wing of the UPS MD-11F crash in Louisville.
On Nov. 4, 2025, UPS Flight 2976 crashed moments after takeoff from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, killing all 3 crew members and 11 people on the ground, while injuring 23 others.
The aircraft involved was MD-11F N259UP.
