For those who continue to defy basic decency and common sense because they refuse to wear a mask — either wear one or don’t go in the store. The refusal to wear a mask is selfish. It infringes on the life and liberty of everyone else in the store.
This victory is for the youth and their families fighting the good fight, today the supreme court sided with the immigrant community and has decided to protect their right to work and thrive in the place they grew up, the place they call home. Daca is here to stay!!!!
Today, I participated in Black Lives Been Mattered, a panel held by Charlotte's own DaBaby that covered systemic racism and the impact of the BLM movement. I was joined by Councilman Braxton Winston, Sheriff Garry McFadden, former Carolina Panther Thomas Davis, and others.
Rocio Gonzales says there is a perception that "God will protect us, we don't need a mask" in the Latino community. She says she is addressing a group of Latino faith leaders to ask them to help encourage face coverings
