The grant funded upgrades to soccer goals with collegiate-standard equipment to enhance the local soccer community and serve the nonprofits and youth leagues that also use the field.

Acclaimed photographer, Howard Cash, started at LACC and built a 50-year career capturing culture, community, and the African diaspora.
His work appears in major collections, including the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
