me and my gf have been doing a bit on our sydney trip where we pretend to be american tourists and loudly mispronounce things & every time we saw "circular quay" we read it out as "circular kway" and in our hotel lobby on the last day a teacher leading kids & it really happened
@_flowerworks_@sammycore333 I’ve been using the stuff for like a solid decade, I haven’t had that problem really… maybe some accidental patches on a bra, but it always washes out?
@sammycore333 Like.. the use is in antiperspirants, which are different than deodorants — if you really wanna avoid it, go for it, but I imagine these things get spurred on by the people who benefit from it (no-pong and other alternative deodorant companies)

@sammycore333 As far as I can see there’s no actual evidence for aluminium causing any sort of health concern, with the Cancer Council of Australia citing the whole idea starting from an email hoax. I don’t see how aluminium can be harmful in deodorant, but completely safe in *drink cans*…?
lot of miserable people berating me for not using diy instead of just being happy for me, you dont know my life, this is such an important day for me and you decide to sour it with your pretentious attitude towards a stranger you know nothing about
@Vic_Maidenless@sammycore333 Genuinely — I had to wait 3 just because the children’s clinic was underfunded, and THAT was a difficult wait, let alone 10, I can only imagine how difficult it would have been
But huge congratulations for HRT!!!! Hope it allows you to feel more at home :3
