Site Neutrality isn’t radical.
It’s rational.

Why does the exact same procedure, performed by the exact same physician cost 3x more if it takes place inside a health system facility?

Because the facility fee is a legalized markup.
Because Medicare pays more for marble than for medicine.

This isn’t healthcare economics.
This is economic capture.
Site-neutral payments correct a distortion.
They don’t attack hospitals, they restore sanity.

Health systems are paid not for better care, but for better lobbying.

That’s the market we live in.

We need to stop paying more simply because the building is taller.
